Don Allensworth-Davies, LPC is a professional counselor licensed in Ohio and a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.  Don was previously a university faculty member for 14 years before leaving academia to become a full-time mental health counselor.  In addition to his MEd in clinical mental health counseling from Cleveland State University, Don also holds a PhD in health services research and MSc in epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health.  Don is a cis-gender married gay man in recovery from an alcohol use disorder.  Don currently lives with his husband, dog Adelaide, and cat Cedric in Stark County, OH.
